Consequently, these standard proportional directional valves work well in many closed loop applications.  Rexroth Directional Valves are solenoid operated directional spool valves. They control the start, stop and direction of a flow. These directional valves basically consist of a housing , one or two solenoids, a control spool as well as one or two return springs .
